ACTC Grant Policies

  • All grants and funding requests initiated by ACTC faculty or staff, or that involve ACTC faculty, staff, facilities or resources, must be reviewed by the Office of Grants and Contracts prior to submission to the funder to ensure compatibility with ACTC's academic goals, fiscal resources and mission statement. Submission without prior review may prevent acceptance of the grant if funding is awarded.
  • Copies of all grants that are submitted to a funding agency will be provided to the Office of the President and the Dean of Business Affairs. A master copy of all submitted grants, working materials, internal KCTCS approvals and communications from grantors/funders must be kept in the Office of Grants and Contracts. 
  • The Office of Grants and Contracts will oversee compliance with all federal grants obtained by ACTC; day-to-day reporting and other activities will be delegated to the operating unit that is utilizing the grant.
  • A copy of all communications from funders, including award or denial letters, must  be provided to the Office of Grants and Contracts upon receipt.

These policies were approved by the Office of the President in 2002.
